Parish Priest

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

By this letter I wish to confirm Father Frank Balmer in his service of the Parish of St Ninian's and to appoint him formally as Parish Priest in succession to the late and much missed Monsignor Owen Gallagher.

Father Balmer was previously Parish Priest of St Bartholomew's in Castlemilk until his appointment to assist Monsignor Gallagher.They worked well together in serving you and they had the support of each other. Father Balmer assisted Monsignor Gallagher at his end and helped you all to come to terms with his death. I am delighted that he has accepted appointment as his successor.
