STATIONS OF THE CROSS: Will take place at 6.45pm before evening mass at 7pm, on Thursday and Friday of this week.

KNIGHTSWOOD FELLOWSHIP OF CHURCHES

The next two Interfaith Services will be as follows:

United Free Church, Sunday 26th February 2012 at 6.30pm ~ preacher Fr. Frank Balmer.

St Brendan's Church, Palm Sunday 1st April 2012 ~ preacher Rev. Gordon Thain.

SPRED

The vision is that all learning disabled people may take their rightful place in the parish community. Anyone who can offer a commitment as a driver please speak to Fr Balmer. Also do so if you have an interest in finding out more about becoming a SPRED Catechist. We ask your prayers for our six young parishioners who are waiting to form a SPRED group in our parish, when volunteers become available.

PARISH YOUTH

Our thanks for your contribution to our Parish and for your positive suggestions about how we can reach out to one another here at St Ninian's with charity and compassion.

GIFT OF TEACHING

Please take this opportunity to benefit from Fr. Dennis McBride CSSR ~ whose talks and Lenten Retreat will focus on "The Passion of Discipleship". Details of times and venues are on a poster in the porch of the Church.

OLIVE AID

Would you like to help the persecuted Christians in the Holy Land? At the same time you could consider a little bit of Bethlehem your own. Olive Aid allows each parish to but/sponsor an Olive Grove, for £25 per tree. They will grow in the land of Christ's birth and help provide employment and education for poeple of the Holy Land. Further information is on the notice board in the Church porch or visit www.oliveaid.com
