PARISH SOCIAL COMMITTEE

We would like to hold a summer event before the school holidays. Anyone interested in helping to form a Parish Social Committee should speak to Father Frank after any weekend Mass. Thank you.

V. E. DAY

The "Veterans" of Glasgow invite you to jion them in a service at St Margaret's Church of Scotland, Knightswood Road on Saturday 12th May 2012 at 11.00 am. Afterwards a short Ceremony (Wreath Laying) at the Veterans Memorial Cross, Baldwin Avenue at 12 noon.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION - 2012

Our parish children will receive their First Holy Communion during 10 o'clock Mass, Saturday 12th May 2012. Two of the children LILY and OWEN will receive their's at a SPRED Mass on Sunday 10th June 2012 at 11.00 am, (Feast of Corpus Christi). We would ask that you keep our parish children in your prayers, that the joy and meaning of this day remain with them throughout their lifes. We warmly invite all our parishioners to both these celebrations.

MARIAN DEVOTIONS

During this month of May, we will recite the Rosary followed by Benediction at 7.00 pm, weekdays.

SUNDAY MINIBUS

We are very grateful to our volunteer drivers who give up their time to assist in transporting our parishioners to and from Sunday Masses. We would like to add more drivers to this rota. Our previous requests have met with no respone. If you feel you would like to help with this ministry please speak to Father Frank or Father Anthony. Many thanks.

WELCOME

Our best wishes to Father Michael Conroy, who has taken up the postion of Parish Priest at Corpus Christi. May he have a long and fruitful ministry.
